Promoted back to Scotland Yard, haunted London cop Jack Sheridan travels up to Kielder Forest in northern England to investigate the abduction of two young girls. He finds a place full of secrets—as well as a vast ocean of trees. A place with a history of missing children dating back to the late-seventies. Thirteen in all.
